Dear Friend 

     If you were to be in my home right now, we would be sharing coffee or my newest sweet tea recipe experiment and I would be jotting down quite seriously any thoughts you have on this most important matter. (Because I live in Florida and here everyone here HAS to have a famous sweet tea recipe.)

     I would refuse to let you skip the cream for your coffee nor would I allow you to pass on the cookie. I love it when friends drop in for a visit. And you- well, you are my friend. So, I thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet!

      Before we launch into all sorts of interesting topics and the unbelievable level of oversharing that I will most assuredly get to, I want you to know something – you are safe here. So, feel free to ask questions, share your doubts, be vulnerable! You are always welcome here and there is always hope. 

     I know that because the very essence of what I believe is just that – certain hope. Jesus saved me and in about a million different ways continues to show Himself strong in my life. God heals!

     My mission in life is to make sure you KNOW about that hope and freedom! God want you to know that you are loved. Fiercely. And when you are with me, it is my job to make sure you know that. Really know it.

The devil spends all of his time spinning the lie that you aren’t enough, you messed up too bad, could never do that thing…he controls with fear, doubt, isolation, insecurity, how busy we are, distractions, working to keep you locked in shackles. I’m tired of it. And it stops here.

God put me on this earth to listen, to come along side, to fight with you in battle, to sit with you in the valley, and celebrate with you on the mountain top. I’m your shadow when its time to breach the door. I have your 6. When the battle gets fierce (And it will!) you have someone fighting with you.

I am here to be your cheerleader, I am here to encourage you, to celebrate who you are, with all of the talents and gifts you’ve been given, and give you the platform to shine. I may have to pull you along (sometimes kicking and screaming!) when it gets tough, but I will fight for you when you can’t, and to be there with you in the breakthroughs. It may get gritty, it may get dark, and there may be blood, sweat, and tears…. but my promise to you- it’s worth it. I will shoot straight. No insta-filters from me.

Be warned- I am also THAT friend in the friend group that is forever bubbling over with excitement, seeing the silver-lining, making sure no one steps on the pretty wildflowers in the grass, and sending out those long gooey texts telling you how amazing you are….. yeah, that’s me. 

     You are created for such a time as this. For something no one else can do like you can do it. The devil’s sophisticated attempts to shut you down are over. His lies are powerless where Gods Word stands true. And in this space- God’s Words stand. You’ve got a friend, a comrade, a sister-in-arms- and together we WILL find freedom.

     And what’s the rest of the story? Well… with God, your future is so full of possibilities! The best is yet to be!!!!! Now…. let’s put in the work!

     Know that you are loved and go out and love somebody!
