Let me tell you
ABOUT ME
My everyday
I live in sunny Florida where the sky is perpetually blue, the sun shines bright, and the emerald gulf lives up to its name! There will always be time for a quick tanning session, and everyone wears shorts and flip-flops. Palm trees abound and life moves at a more tropical slower pace.
Lest I make it sound like the paradise that it is, if you wear makeup, it will most definitely melt off. You cannot sit in the grass because- fire ants. You WILL need to take any metal hairclips out of your hair, so you do not get a metal burn on your scalp. This may be a tiny exaggeration. But it might not! Lol! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
I was born in upstate New York and attended church before I was even born. I credit my early salvation to a God full of grace and a mama who prayed and lived out her faith in front of my sisters and I every day. Thank you, mom!
I am married to my very best friend. He is the singularly greatest man I have ever known. He has my whole heart. He is the kindest and best person.
He is also an engineer. Enough said. Ammi right?
We have a sweet baby boy, and our lives are so full and blessed!
If you find me at home, I could be doing any number of things – first and foremost being a wife and mom. When I have a moment, you could find me making YouTube videos, scheduling speaking engagements, to being a part of counseling sessions, both behind the desk and on the couch myself (Everyone needs someone!), to cooking, shadow boxing, writing, and spending time with my family.
I will pretty much ALWAYS have a water bottle close by. Because according to my mom, drinking water will cure everything. I mean….it’s going to be the answer to world peace if she has anything to say about it.
My life is so full of rainbows, adoration of all things glitter, and blessing too numerous to count.
But that is only part of it…
It has also been shadowed with some extremely painful battles, some very dark moments, and deep valleys. Sometimes life isn’t ok. Some days it was hard to breathe. There are some things that I wish I could erase from my past with every fiber of my being. But it is in those moments that I have seen my great God do some miraculous and astounding things. Oh my!!!! God has been most real in those times.
For all of what God has done in my life, I am humbled and thankful.
